    Wheel shakes at 90 kms 07 vxr astra help!!!

    Hey guys have a 2007 vxr astra been having problems with the steering wheel shaking at speeds 90kmh and above....so what I've done so far new rims,new tyres,wheel balance,wheel alignment,new bilstein struts,new springs,new strut bearings,new tyre rod ends,new link arms,new drive shaft centre support bearing,both drive shafts checked from a drive shaft specialist and both good drives beautiful until 90kmh then shakes any other ideas I'm pulling what little hair out I have left lol...

    Engine /gearbox mounts? Diff?

    Mounts are good diff is good my son had the exact same problem with a 2002 Mitsubishi tj Ralliart and it was the centre support drive shaft bearing...I was so sure that when I replaced that in the vxr it would be problem solved lol...

    Mind you I have new mount inserts that will be going in anyway also new lower ball joints 😀

    That’s a real head scratcher! Drive shaft phasing, or driveline angles? Clutching at straws here! Does anyone else have the same problem with this model?

    Can you simulate any play with the car off the ground?

    No movement at all IÂ’ve been told steering rack could be the problem????

    have you replaced the inner tie rod ends or just the outers.
    Also, sounds silly, but were the wheels balanced by the same shop every time?

    Just the outers mate and the wheels and tyres are new been balanced by 2 different shops 😀
