Cheers for help guys. I think I've made a decision and will be getting the insignia. One last thing, is there any common problem with these cars?

Don't know about that engine. One thing i can think of is the satnav, if it's got that. Doesn't have updates. Not a major issue but sometimes annoying if you need to visit an address that doesn't exist

Haha, yeah wouldn't expect the sat Nav to be any good or have any kind of updates since the car is a 2012/2013 model. Not a major issue for me. From what I can tell aren't the Opels/Vauxhall a glorified Holden? I was kinda hoping that this engine would be in something similar to another Holden that's here in oz.

I find the Insignia Tourer a beautiful car. I see one white wagon around my area regularly. Opel design and manufacture these, Vauxhall and Holden do their badgengineering to it.

The Insignia 2.0 Diesel uses the A20DTH engine, which is the same in the Astra J diesel and Holden Malibu diesel. The cruze diesel uses the z20D1.
2013 Astra Sports Tourer. 1.6T. Auto. Phantom Grey. GlossBlack Vinyl Roof, Dark Streetlegal tints, OEM 19 wheels, LED: DRLs; H7 low beams; foglights; plate lights; interior lights, Shark fin FM aerial, Smoked side repeaters + chrome bulbs, OEM glovebox shelf, OEM sunglass holder, OEM Astra Mats, EDS phase 1 tune, Pipercross Panel Filter, Aluminium sport pedals, DBA T2 brake rotors, turbosmart BOV

Yes there are a very nice looking car! Oh, so parts in oz shouldn't be too scarce by the sound it? I might be taking one for a test drive this Sunday, can't wait to get behind the wheel!

Sorry for the questions, I'm trying to get my head around to see if it's worth to buy. This would be a family car, so I have concerns, but damn this car is really nice!

i recently got my OPC astra service at holden, $349 for service. thought that was ok for a dealership service. you'll find most holden dealerships are Opel designated service centres
