ha ha that's amazing! They call my 15" crappy mags an accessory, but at first it was a "mod", pfft... then I added a Holden genuine rear sunguard, which is gone now, but they tried to class that as a mod too. Gotta love the two different categories. Oh yeah, and they classed my tint, even though I had it done when I bought the car new as a mod.

Ask about your tint Cateo!!! Cos it adds value to the car, doesn't it?

yeah my tint is listed as an accessory but my tail lights couldnt be listed anywhere so they didnt bother.

Just Cars is one eyarly payment so i dont wana go with them! Plus they are way too expensive!

And with AAMI they do monthly payments as of December last year and they go by how long you have been driving, and not how long you have had insuarance.

I am 21 in May so its 4.5yrs I have been driving since i have had my L's.

Also got a quote thru my step-mum at Adelaide Bank who go thru CGU (who i am with) and its $1000- cheaper a year!

what!!! aami do monthly payments? for who? is that applicable to anyone and everyone who is with them? I asked them in June last year and she reckons they don't do it, and never will. But having said that, she was a bitch.

But I was asking if that was applicable to everyone, because I heard rumours they were going to introduce it - but only for lifetime rating 1 customers... then I was told by the woman they would never do it. So obviously they do since you said they do...

I shall just call them myself when Insurance is due in March.

The guy offered it to me but because ordered it online, they sent me a $25 cheque. Oh, there is also no option for pay-by-the-month when purchasing it online Click here to enlarge

Well when i insured with Just Cars they told me i could insure for 6 months or 12 months

The title to you thread was "Bloody Insurance... (can't even mod)" i was under the impression that you were asking for feedback.... Just Cars are a little more expensive as are any specialist insurance companies although you have to be willing to pay the price if you want to mod. I suggested Just Car Insurance due to their policy of unlimited mods. btw Shannons Insurance is much more expensive than Just Cars and fyi Just Cars is a subsidary of AAMI.

I offered this help as when i modded the Turbo no "everyday" insuarnce company would cover me even though i am a 25yo female with no bad driving history except a car theft hence why i investigated the specialist insurance companies
