Found first patch of paint cancer on my bonnet Was thinking about painting the roof and sills in the holidays but cbf painting half the car!
Rear muffler delete, 2 10" subs in parcel shelf, resprayed the stock steelies satin black, cleaned the interior a bit, head unit, new headlights, gave it its first wash EVER, and added spotties to the front. More still to come
Replaced my coolant temp sensor with a new one to try and fix the gauge issue but had no luck
About ready to blow this car up... been largely faultless for a decade now everything at once, had the wife telling me off down the phone earlier because she was doing xmas shopping and the boot wouldn't open. Brings the car to me and the central locking is working but for some reason the open button on the tailgate has stopped working so i guess i'll be pulling that apart this weekend... once i crawl in through the rear seats, and the subwoofer, to get it open to begin with. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand aircon not working again.
---------------
EDIT: Weird... after reading on here about the key position on the boot lock i went and checked and sure enough it was in the vertical position, turned back to horizontal and boot works fine again. What i have NFI about is how it got turned, i've never used the key for the boot in my life and can't imagine why the air con numpty or the auto elecs would have been near it.
