Well shit.
Well it's official, BBC has dumped JC from the network.
With May and Hammond's contracts both finishing up this year, they said all along that they wouldn't resign if he wasn't a part of it.
So looks like Top Gear is over, done and dusted.

Have been following this and I gotta admit if it is true he punched that guy - and I'm not sure if that's official or not yet - then I have veeeeery little sympathy for him. He's a jerk for sure and I know that's his hook but smacking someone around at work isn't on.
I agree with a lot of comments too that Top Gear's been a bit... lacking recently. The interesting/relevant reviews of cars were few and far between. The nail in the coffin for me was when they did the city race rehash but it was just... bizarro. The car was stupid, they obviously set up the bike fail, I can't even remember what Clarkson was doing now I think about it.
That's TV I suppose though.
Cheers

lost my shit when i saw that pic rofl
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
Fukn BS its gone, i watched some old TGUK last night, so many memories.
But it looks like it may resurface elsewhere.

I didn't mind the show over all when there was nothing else on but I have always honestly thought of Clarkson as a pig, a chauvinist but that's just his persona I guess..
2004 Arden Blue TS Astri SRi Turbo
Its a pity he had to leave the show but i do understand. No matter who you are, every action has a reaction. If one of my artists hit me, i'd tear up his contract too and tell him to piss off.

It was bound to end sooner or later, but I'm sure they all would not have wanted it to end the way it did..
