Cause i'm Euro, born Euro, grew up Euro, eating Euro, look like Euro, talk Euro, have Euro in bank, wifey Euro, always drove Euro, still have only Euro (1x Opel, 1x Pug & 2 x old Fiat).
Some comments remind of my brother's Opel Commodore 2500 in Europe, I think it was early 1970 model, straight six, great goer. I drove it sometimes. Few years ago I visited my younger brother and we took his done up turbo Calibra for a run, 0-100 in 4 seconds.

When i think about it, I am pretty much the same, except i don't have Euros in the bank. my cars have been: Ford escort, VW Passat, one aussie Cortina with 3.3 L engine, Volvo 244, Ford Laser which was a Mazda 323, then Vectra, astra 1.8, then a mistake Diesel CRuze, now Turbo Astra.
Yes, favourite drops are Amstel beer or a drop of the good old whiskey

i'm a pom and have pretty much always had Astras. A MK1 a MK4 and now two AH's.
I like how the seat belts are still the same and the headlight switch is still in the same place/shape.
They are also good value for money, especially now there not worth much.
I'm Scottish and my old man liked his Vauxhalls. He had an astra CD, 2l diesel and it was great! Then I bought a 1.6 SXi Twinport back home. Was a great car. Moved here 3 years ago and bought my SRi Turbo. Its a surprising little car, keeps up with my mates wrx. Its safe, reliable, economical and goes rather well

Any of the Euro members remember Ascona and Manta?

didn't like the manta B, AKA vauxhall cavalier, what a rust bucket.
How about the Lotus Carlton/Omega. As close as you get to a big Aussie car in Europe.
