Won't be inlet manifold.
Could be oil pressure switch if it's the front of the block.
The other half took the Astra, 2.2, to Holdens for a free inspection they were running.
We've got a minor oil leak down the front of the engine. Their assesment was it was comming from the inlet manifold
and would be $500 to fix.
I've done a bit of research and can't find anything about oil leaks from the inlet manifold.
The inlet manifold is sealed by four rings so I can't see how you would get a leak here.
Has any one had or know of a leak from the inlet manifold?
Apart from the rocker cover is there any thing else in that area I should be looking at?

the free inspection is to get them work.
Some oil leaks are years of build up. Try washing it off with carby cleaner or engine degreaser and let it develop.
