    push button start querie

    Has anyone on the forum installed a push button start thingy and what's it like to use on a daily basis? any issues?

    Think there were a few members in the past who've put it in.
    still need to put key in ignition, turn to 2nd position then press button to start.
    so its a bit pointless really.

    Well if you need to still put key in ignition then it defeats the purpose...cheers anyway.

    There is a company in Thailand that does a kit so its completely like a oe push button start type (no key needed) will see if I can find the name of the company for you

    Only other thing on most Opels, is that you will also need to tape a transponder chip to the receiver ring in order to have a no key start.

    The kit my mate has in his verada, the key along with the stock transponder go into a lock box under the dash the oem looking push to start goes in place of the barrel. It also comes with proximity entry alarm and remote start. He has had it for over a year now and no issues at all oh and the kit also offers auto headlights and auto wipers.
