    Did you have fun removing the original gear nob?

    How did you remove it?
    Everyone says it should be hard to remove. But I got a small towel and pulled it straight up and it came off first go. Kinda scary really when people talked of hot water and hair dryers as well as multigrips. :shock: I mean it didnt just drop off but I expected it to be a lot tougher. I didnt have to use any tools and the first thing I saw after removing it was the keyed shaft. I would have done a how-to for it but the digital camera isnt here.

    same as mine, the gearstick has been knurled so it stays on by pure grip. Just twist and pull. (in most cases)
