Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

I've had mine boosting too much for the turbo (old one) and it did exactly the same. Squeeling its nuts off which indeed sounded like a jet taking off.

I thought it was that "sweet spot" before changing gears. most noticeable with a decent exhaust... hard to describe the jet sound... like a "zip" of acceleration prior to changing gears

21 psi? Will be interesting to see what the reliability is like.

Considering the amount of testing they performed I would assume they would be pretty reliable

I hope so. But still not convinced about accelerated reliability testing. It's like drugs, most of the side effects are found out only after its released to the general public.

I'm impressed.
I don't think 21psi is going to be an issue for the engine/turbo for the vast majority of owners. But I doubt the turbo is designed to last more than 200k anyway...
The real test is when people start modding them to get even more power out of them and winding up the boost even more..
That was Rory making the sound. Kylie can confirm he does it while he sleeps also.
