hmmm......it still doesn't grab my attention much. At this stage I'm going with the Golf sportline or something.
Maybe if we get a naturally aspirated SRi (new 1.8L or something) i'll start looking at the astra again

I have some pics of a coupe with different 18" rims down at my dealership but cant post em up because i cant add attachments to posts because of this new forum business.
Isn't that a pic of the BASE model CD hatch with 15 inch alloys....
A sportline Golf will cost close to $35K onroad. That's roughly $7000 more than the CDX Astra 3 door.
Astra H T will be 35 not on-road so the choice is yours.
i'll take the T thanks..
But.... the SPortline golf has the normally aspirated 2L engine. No turbo.Astra H T will be 35 not on-road so the choice is yours.
I try to love the new astra, but I just can't!
The new "coupe" looks too stretched in the back...
Give me an Astra TS Coupe anyday though! Now thats a hot car that holden SHOULD have imported into Australia!
saw the astra wagon today - somebody's already bought one. on the road, it looks larger than a zafira but with much improved looks.
haven't seen the tigra yet (apart from the melbourne autoshow)
