    Astra glovebox light fitting melted

A few months ago i got my AH Astra serviced at Muirs and the car came back with the glovebox light not working. I thought they'd forgot to reconnect the power after changing the cabin filter and I didn't bother to fix it.

Yesterday I finally got around to taking out the glovebox as I was installing a parking camera, and found out that the on/off spring mechanism didn't work because the plastic around it had melted. I didn't know this was even possible!

Just got quoted $75 for a replacement (90306633, a bulb and a piece of plastic). Other than getting it from the UK is there any good way to get it on the cheap?
