short story, my wife accidentaly deleted few photos from our cameras CF card, she deleted the photos directly using the camera, not via the PC.
is there a way of getting those photos back? it happened yesterday and the card has not been used or formatted yet...

Remove the card from the camera and do not take any more photos. The shots can definately be recovered via a USB or laptop Card reader, and a generic un-delete program.
There are quite a few out there....
