    Which Opel?

Does anyone known if the 8v carby 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 out of the Vauxhall Cavalier made it to australia in any shape or form?

I am looking for this distributor ignition system to run carbies on a c20xe.

I have looked but if you have any ideas???

some calibras did come in with an 8v engine, it was shared with either the gemini or the camira (not sure which one off the top of my head)

the cavalier shared drivetrain/engines with the calibra, so it might be the same one

yer the c20ne came in the calibra, not carby.

same motor as the JD camira.

i would look towards the camira or even the early pulsar as it had a similar motor setup

I am pretty sure that the astra's and pulsars which had carbs were from nissan or at least the astra's were.

This is what i am trying to find in aus

Basically the old way of running the spark when using carbies.

Hey thanks all for pitching in so far!Click here to enlarge
