So . . . . what replaces the Opel?
We are in the same boat at the moment. Wife's Astra goes tomorrow, so that only leaves the convertible in the garage wearing the GM stickers now.
After a long association with OpelAus and having owned my 2.2l SRi for 8 years (from new) Ive finally sold my Astra. Its going to be sad seeing it around town especially cause its got my $2400 ROH wheels (plus all the other gear) still on it.

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
