Regrading the panel filter vs Pod. It just comes down the type of driving you do and what you want to get out of the intake... Noise, performance, looks??
With the pod filter if your driving is normally city stop start traffic with heaps of red lights and stop signs. You will have to heat shield it and have some cold air running to it.
