i imagine if we use an image say from those dodgy ebay sellers itll be ok.. if they can get away with it, dont see why we cant off there logo and ebay dont do copyrighting

i never stated where or who we are, just said we are an opel car community and looking to create some membership logos for our cars, just wondering if we could use your blitz logo.

Then he replied with, sorry but due to copyright laws we can not divuldge any forms of media from our website. and that was about it really (very german)

im kinda with you ain. i think the originals were/are pretty darn good.
as for mod slightly, the opelaus.com one could be bigger overall, higher and longer.

its a real shame we cant use the blitz, because the blitz is the symbol for opel, and opel is the main reason we are all here.

i think if we cant have the proper blitz on our stickers, then we shouldnt have varied ones, varied versions of the blitz are pretty much useless, perhaps even mocking us, because no one else in the outside community will know what the weird ass backwards upside down lightning strike is for (it wont be matching our badges etc),
and when we look at it we will see it as really meaning nothing.

so far i like...
shays in post 17, but cant use it (what if we elongate the long parts of the bolt?

frankos in post 111, though i think the steering wheel could be replaced with something...

either way, what ever design we use, i think the word opelaus.com should be clear and easily read, after all it is the site we are trying to promote with the stickers.
