Sounds bloody awful - the day that sort of thing gets into cars is the day I buy my one last brand new car without that crap and never buy another car again.
Seriously, how long will it be until the average car owner rises up against all this sort of thing, including speed cameras, speed limiters, the road safety lobby, the pedestrian council, critical mass and 100 other anti-car groups?
I normally vote one way and one way only - but I'd be very tempted to vote for any party that got serious about doing something for the car owner, rather than the we-hate-cars brigade.
