If you look closely the shape seems to have changed slightly...the new logo
The top bar of the lightning bolt is thicker than the bottom, and the top and bottom lines of the bolt are no longer parallel. Very subtle change.

Yeah they are currently parallel, they arent horizontal but they are parallel. Although looking at the new one again, it might just be the light making the angles look different, hard to tell.

The ain change is the surfacing. It's now got a spherical surface all around rather than flat and the surrounding ring has been made fatter. As I said, refinement.
