i wouldnt see why you couldnt install it yourself.... you turn it off by overiding the switch and manually turning on the headlights..

so u cant actually turn it off unless you turn to headlights on, then off again...unlike in the cx-7, mz6 etc where they have an auto lights on setting on the stalk?

kinda defeats the purpose of having auto lights if you can turn it off... but then again, we havent had the car long enough to discover all the little tricks...

already bought an sp23 Shaun.. but we did test drive the i30 (petrol). nice car but didnt match the sp23 for price/features

hehe..not really...giving the option to turn autolights off is a good idea I think...but thats just me

oh I read in a mazda forum, sensor goes near A pillar...so the sensor in the middle is only for climate control.
