I used an eraser to rub it off
could also try eucalyptus oil....gets off goo
you could go to any paint product shop and ask for prepsol which is a tar and wax remover which gets sticky residue off aswell

i used eucy oil & metho spirit. i found the metho to work better.
the key is to let it soak into the gooey stuff - then rub it off.
n do it bit by bit, i.e - start from one corner, n work ur way through.
it took me less than a minute to remove the badge, but half-hour to remove the gooey stuff!!! fark.
