    actually the smart car is very well made. there is a clip on you tube that has it smashing into a concrete barrier and it comes out intact.
    you can even open the doors.

    As I implied in that post, even a "Tridium Safety Cell" in a Smart won't save you if you hit something at 70mph.
    In oncoming traffic, you can easily double that figure.
