    Who makes Holden Genuine Coolant

    Hey guys,

    just wondering if anyone knows who makes the genuine holden coolant for holden.

    ditto Click here to enlarge I need to top up my reservoir.. I lose about 1.5cm for the past 9mos. I couldn't found any leak.

    yeah same here. i know caltex sells the compliant GM6277 coolant but id like to find out who makes the genuine one. otherwise tomorrow ill pop into holden and buy 1 litre of it.

    I think it is Dex-Cool. Made by Texaco which is Caltex. Both brands of Chevron Global Energy. Used in all GM vechicles post '96. It may come under a different name now as it had a bad reputation for a while for causing corrosion and leakages.

    Doesn't sound like a great reason to use "genuine" coolant...
