    Hello there

    Hello

I am from New South Wales Australia - I just purchased a 2001 astra.

I plan to do a few mods and will post pictures soon.

Ok here is my new car.

No mods as of yet - I have my Alpine headunit installed , I still have an Alpine widescreen monitor/ps2 - subs - amps - guages etc to install.

I am going to purchase some 18 ionch wheels for this car , And as such I was fooling around with photoshop.

But I think these look more like 20's rather than 18's Click here to enlarge
Does anyone have a nice side shot of this model astra with 18 inch wheels fitted? - it would help me alot.

The car itself handles surprisingly well around twisty roads, And the ride is quite comfortable.

People that have fitted large wheels with low profile tyres and have lowered the vehicle, I would like to hear from you as to how this changes the handling characteristics and overall comfort of the vehicles ride.

Also where can i get these snazzy opel badges? - I have seen them for sale on ebay - Is it as simple as ordering the badge, Or do I need to order an opel replacement front grille.

I am pretty handy with car and home av systems - So If any of you are having troubles please feel free to ask.

More to come when its done.
