    Aussie Racing Car Fans??????

Ok i know im a new guy here and i kind of joined, then dissaperredfor a little while like lots of people, BUT I HAVE A REASON. i was in tasmania working on the aussie racing cars as i work at race meetings for them as pit crew/mechanic, was just wondering if any body is a fan of these. they are great and watch the tasmania, baskerville round on speedweek. Its great close racing and theres burn outs. 3 of our drivers got excited after the final as the came 1st 2nd and 3rd and showed off a little. its good stuff.

These are the little V8 Supercar shells and also the FJ and old style Ford, with the 3 cylinder motorcyle engines yeh? Yeh they are good to watch, amazing the handling capabilities. I remember they did a comparrison between an Aussie Racing Car, a V8 Supercar and a road performance sedan in either Wheels or Motor; was very interesting to see the mid corner speed and 0-100 times of the little fellers!

they rev out to about 11g. get about 125bhp out of them. in 450kg. no idea on 0-100 times or anything. they top out at about 240 given you have enough road. in one of our test at bathurst before the race and the extra areo we were hitting 245kph unoffically.

They cost around $40 000, you can buy them if you are going to race in the category. You can't drive them on the road, they're purely race cars.
