They just told me it is a something called "point 40" (which means that its fully built and completed) and that it is about to be loaded and shipped.

so i HOPE that means;

3-4 weeks on the water (hopefully)
2 weeks being compliance checked etc

so we could have them in our garages in 5-6 weeks, which puts us about mid to late september, which is when i expected it.

event code 40 is passed to sales (built complete and QC'd)
42 is on the way to Zeebrugge (shipping port)
48 at Zeebrugge (boarding ship)
58 at dealers
60 is registered

cool, i hope it doesnt take long to ship!!!! Im getting a little keen to have mine!! The Hyundai excel just isnt doing it for me atm!!

Blacky says about 2 months to ship to Aus? This will be the longest two months i think.

well you will be in for a suprise going from a excel into a VXR lol

with the shipping they will make sure that it is full before sailing so it will be dependent on what is destined for Aus at that time and when it will sail.
Some of us had our VXR's sit in the port for a week before being shipped to the UK but usually theu are quick at filling

Ive been thinking the same rudeone. Sell the SRi T now and lease a Smart Fortwo from work. 300 amonth is the cost. which is $250 Less then i pay for my SRi T i have now.
