I agree... The large car market has been dying since the mid-90's. But for now, there's still enough volume to make it worthwhile, so Holden are sticking to what they know and are going to milk everything they can out of it. Which is all well and good in the short term, but it may leave them up sh1t creek without a paddle if they don't make some effort to produce more efficient cars. But, I suspect Denny Mooney doesn't give a crap about that because by that stage Holden will be a speck in his rear view mirror and it'll be someone else's problem...

You can gaurantee that General Motors Holden have got something in the pipeline in terms of producing a more efficient car.

The SS in those pics has a some lines that remind me of a Mazda 6. The wagon looks like a Vectra Rear end. The ute i dont like. but they are impressions so i will hold my judgement until the real pictures are released . My only question is : Holden where is the Turbo V6 to compete with the Ford XR6 Turbo. the article with the impressions says they need something more then a special sauce . im wondering if the the SV6 will become the SV6 Turbo. Holden have to do something to be go up against the XR6 Turbo. Sorry to say this but the Current SV6 just dont cut it.

I cant see Holden Dropping the Wagon. Yes it may not account for huge sales but its still a part of there market share.
