I think it depends on the s40 in question.... the earlier shape had different engines, but i'm pretty sure the new shape ones all have the 5 cyl 2.5 litre... from memory i think there's one n/a and 2 tunes of turbo - i think the most powerful turbo is pretty much yanked straight from volvo and put in the xr5.

yeah your right. i wasnt implying that my dads car had the motor of the xr5.(wish it did). his is 4 cylinder 2 litre turbo. low pressure turbo. just that this guy said that the volvo motor cant handle tuning.
VXR all the way. and after June i will be able to say that with confidence once i go for a run in one.
