New Feature: vBPager.

Yet another new feature.

This is a quick messaging system.

Not sure 100% how this one works...

1: Have a look under the title image. You should see "Pager Messages."
2: In UserCP, Options. You have some stuff to tick here. Enable vB Pager
3: Viewing the profile of a member will give you the option to send a pager message.
4: The user details section of each post has a new icon. Clicking on that will send a Pager message.
5: Goto "Quick Links, and you will see Open pager.

Now, this Mod is not 100% understood by me. Have a play, see what happens. It involves popups, so this maybe an issue. I'm just not sure yet. You may need to allow Opelaus to have popups on your browser.

Things to try:
- Add opelaus.com to trusted sites,
- Lower the scripts (Java, AJAX, etc) security level for OpelAus.

If you are using Internet Explorer...

1: Goto Tools, Internet Options,
2: Click on the security tab,
3: Click on Trusted sites,
4: Click sites and add http://www.opelaus.com
5: Click OK,
6: Click Custom Level, and reset to Low.
7: Click OK,
8: Click OK.

it says i have one pager message unread, yet when i clink on it to view it, it says there are none..

and i have enabled it and added as a trusted site..

This looks like a fix for:

1: Unread messages can't be accessed.
2: No popups.


The forum is programmed to run off http://www.opelaus.com. This is an intergral part of the vBpager system. USE THIS URL..!!!!

If you use http://opelaus.com the vBpager system will not run.

Can you increase the stored messages from 10 to 20 or soemthing cause i reach 10 in like one second.

Also if i dont reply to a message on the spot as i get it, i cant click a button to reply once its in my inbox, i have to go and find the person then click on their page icon.

I really don't want messages stored. This is a quick message system. Not to replace PM's. I have increased to 20 anyway.

Not sure about point 2. I can't see any options for that.

Ok how about this, ill send you a message you read it then click close.

Go to your inbox and try and reply to it.

You cant.

Your only option to reply is to find a post of mine and click that new icon ive got that says SEND PAGER...
