did you know those girls have their tops painted on hehehehe
enjoy your stay here, i hope you enjoy it
Hello everyone! I'm a new member from the other site of the planet. I live in Brazil and will be travelling to Australia next month, so I'm collecting some information about it. Of course because I own an Astra, I had do do a little research about it in Australia and so I found this forum. I'm one of the administrator of a Brazilian forum on Astras called AstraClub, which you may visit by clicking on this links:

I hope you enjoy it!
Our Astra modell is different from yours, as the H modell is not yet available in Brazil. We now have a facelifted version of the G modell, which is the version I own. Here are some photos of my car:
http://hochman.kit.net/Piteco_KitGSI/
It has a 2.0 liter motor with 128hp (I don't know its power in kw...), and runs both on petrol or alcohol. Yes, in Brazil alcohol is available in every gas station and the most recent cars are prepared to run with both fuels in whatever proportion we put in its tank.
If anyone could do me that favor, please send me some websites adresses of car parts & acessories shops near Sidney. I'll actually be staying in Manly, but heard it's near and I'm planning several trips along your country.
I'm adding this page to my favorite links!
That's it for now. I'll finish with some pictures of AstraClub Brazil's meetings!
Some drag racing pictures!
And some Trackday pictures! (This is my car!!)
There are several other images from our trackday on these links:

We don't have Holden badges here. All Opel cars are made by Chevrolet (GM).
does anyone change them to opel or holden badges though? to be different?Originally Posted by astralopiteco
or does everyone leave them with just the chevy badges on?

Some people change them to Opel badges, but Holden or Vauxhal badges I have never seen here.
