I always wondered wht the Letters mean on a Astra and Corsa.
Here We go, the definative list. This is from Vauxhall :-
SRi = Sports Refinement Injection
SXi = Sports Xtra Injection
GSi = Grand Sport Injection
CD = company Director
CDX = Company Director Xtra

I don't think they stand for anything...just designations thought up by marketing types, that's all.
eg. SRi sounds a bit sporty, so let's stick it on the sports model (cos GTi etc were taken)...
