    Can someone measure....(astra height)

Can someone measure for me, from the centre of the mag (holden logo) to the edge of the wheel arch? (the centre, obviously of the arch)
    I'd like:
someone with eibach springs, king springs, stock sri turbo, stock SRi (2.2L) and stock 1.8L (all hatch versions)....
Can people do this for me?? Would be much appreciated if it's soon as i want to complain about my suspension not being lowered Click here to enlarge
For some reason my front (from hub to guard) measures 36cm and the rear is 32cm... the rear is lower, partially due to the stereo weight Click here to enlarge it is, however not that heavy and maybe makes about 1cm MAX difference... all this is measured on level ground... so something seems a-miss to me as i'm SURE that the car is not 20mm lower than stock cd/city at the front!
    Thanks for the help

I'm not sure measuring to the guard will be accurate i.e. the guard shape might not be consistant between front and back?!?

Thats the way you have to measure it as it gives the suspension height from the body of the car to the hub of the wheel...
I'm not so worried about front vs back, more worried about my height vs other cars Click here to enlarge

[edit - oh, and the guard is a fairly consistant shape too so makes measuring easy]

If you have just had your car lowered, you need to give the springs some time to settle in. It was the same situation with me, had it lowered, and it looked like stock. My mecahnic told me the springs need to settle in, and they did.
If their new, give them about a month or so before you get proper results.

Nah, i haven't... it supposed to come stock with 20mm lower suspension... and it's done 14,000k's and is nearly 1yr old, so should have settled by now... However, the front still looks unusually high... Something i'm hoping to take up with the dealer if i can get some measurements Click here to enlarge

Mine appear alot higher at the front on stock. Had mine nearly 4 years.

The front does tend to appear higher...and from some of my mates stock astra's they appear the same.

Hmmmm.... Maybe eibach springs or kings, etc, all drop the car slightly more at the front then? it's wierd, because all the lowered ones (on eibach or kings) look level, like, even, front-rear however, all the stock ones seem like they added the extra long springs on the front...
Anyone keen to do some measuring for me please Click here to enlarge

Just had a look at mine again and i swear the front guard is higher up into the body work than the rear guard.
