I will change when i have enough saved for the T...Yes!
Is anyone else here a high-mileage driver like me? I'm averaging 30,000km a year these days, with my 10/01 delivered TS CD having just passed 120,000km.
How many km do you guys have on yours? How long do you plan to keep it? I'm expecting to see 200,000km from mine at least and I wouldn't be surprised if I still have it when it's pushing 300,000km.
(By the way, to all the people who told me when I bought it that Opels were unreliable, I say bull****. In that time, I've replaced the crank angle sensor, door strikers, headrest support on the driver's seat and the power mirror motor on the driver's side. The CAS and door strikers weren't too long after it was new, so I'm extremely happy with its longer term reliability.)

07/2004 model Barina bought brand new in September 2004 I have done to date 42,307kms. At the one year mark it was about 38,000kms! So yeah I am a high milage driver too.. but I blame that on Ipswich being remote from civilisation and having to drive 50kms to shops... A few days working in Toowoomba, there's about 800kms a fortnight.
I HATE KILOMETRES... ideally I want to get rid of mine when it gets to about 100,000kms. Maybe less if lucky. Other then that the car runs fine, apart from the warranty issues just had general services and even those have required very little to be replaced.

Barina SXI bought in May 04 29000km by the end of this month. I use to drive a 7okm round trip to work every day but changed stores in feb so kms have gone down. i also drove to karratha from Perth wich is a 5k round trip. so i did more kms in its 1st year. I plan on upgrading when i get my new job but that seems to be getting longer away from finishing my qualification. I want an black Astra Coup CDX. mmmm leather interior
Ive done 4500kms in 6 months, is that high? :P

96 combo B - 231K averages 1500km/wk
96 combo B (2) 161K sees 1000k / month
both vans have been log booked since new. 1st one has the front brakes upgraded and the 2nd one will shorty. engine has been apart on the first one as per the 100k service requirement.
I second the 'unreliable opel line' keep fuel in it and it just runs and runs... hasn't caused me a bit of trouble since I bought it in jan '04.
van two I bought late sept and it runs better than my first one.
now if I can keep out of the EPC (ta pred8r) then I'll be doing well.
