TURBLUE I NEED YOUR HELP!

When i copy past my html code from front page or dreamweaver into my user page or even right here it doesnt come out the same.

And also are you able to change the comments(shouts) shown from 5 to more?

A lot of HTML will not work in these pages. In general, the ability to use HTML in most forums is disabled due to security concerns. Some code 'may' work. I have no option within admin to change this for the userpage mod. Also, HTML code in posts has been disabled on our forum.

As for what will work? I just don't know. Have a play, and PM me so I can create a list that others can use to make their page.

I will look into the shout limit and see what I can do. I won't be able to do it tonight, dinner with Boss.....

Hey everyone...

Before I get PM'ed, I have discovered an issue with the User-Pages.

I have performed a forum update as advised by the designers. This update takes care of a lot of problems and holes. In the process, it has buggered the User-Pages Mod.

At this point you can view the pages, but that's about it. I am seeking a fix.

Sorry People...

I am removing this Mod. In it's place will be a new and VASTLY improved one.

For those that are interested, I will be offering you 3 megabytes of webspace for free on the OpelAus webserver. You will be able to create a genuine website, as opposed to the limitations of this now defunct mod.

- You will have FTP access to your site,
- Your site will be available at http://members.opelaus.com/username/
- There will be a strict quota of 3 megabytes space,
- You are able to code as you like, or use the preloaded templates when written,
- No pornagraphic or offensive material to be displayed.
- I reserve the right to delete or edit to protect against legal stuff. Just stick to the Forum rules.
- Full HTML is usable.
- All User Sites will be listed on a page accessable from the navbar.

If you are clever about the size of images you use, this is really quite a lot of space. The complete forum software is only 7 meg, and that is 592 files..!!! You can use this space to link to avatars, images you place on the forum, whatever.

What you need to do:

1: PM me your request for space.
2: Supply me a password.

I will then supply you the details to log into your space.

I will not be offering a design service. But I will start a new forum so people can offer tips and help. Sort of a self help group. I'll start the ball rolling now, and I'll add stuff as we go.

For those of you that kindly support OpelAus financially, you will now have 15 megabytes of webspace. Please consider helping out with a subscription if you want more space.
