Or look at a holden certified used one, when i got my SRi it was $17k drive away 2yrs left of factory and 3yrs of certified GM. A lot more spec for a little more money.

For those who haven't got a clue...
Paint protection is useless. All your doing is giving them a wad of cash they wouldn't have otherwise had.
I have a friend who has worked in the Automotive industry as a dealer for many years, including a recent 5 year stint at a holden dealer, and straight from the horses mouth... paint protection is a con.
Thats the same as wen they stoped the Sxi and and CD and just had the 3 and 5 door that they sell now. lots of little extras taken away for a few thousand. i am still happyer with my SXi to a current 3 door run out.Originally Posted by pred8r
A run out Barina Blitz (tacky decal on boot promo get them out of the yard thingy) was $12k at Clarkson wen i went into to book a service.
with my holden pricing i saved 15% so i dont know why you only get $1000- off!?!
I'd forgotten about this thread, even though I started it
For those who might have been interested in what we ended up doing, in the end we bought....nothing.
We sold the old '91 Charade POS and decided that the $13-15k we'd need to buy a new Barina would look better on our mortgage than in our garage, so we're now both sharing the Astra. Working well so far, there have been very few times when we've both needed the car at the same time - and buying bus tickets, even interstate ones, is a lot cheaper than buying and running another car.

You're mad!!! I couldn't share my car with anyone - AND THAT INCLUDES A WIFE!Originally Posted by 01CDsedan
