i think the saturn/ion/sunfire/sunbird are close US cousins of opels. something like that anyway. Welcome to the site!
unfortunately we didn't get the Omega in australia, we have a car which is based on the omega, it's called a Commodore and is made by Holden. which is actually a 4 door pontiac GTO which came in 6 cylinder and V8 (LS1) variants as well as the 2 door coupe (called Monaro)
