It would be nice to see Holden take on a HSV Astra project whole heartedly and make it into a truely great car. They tried it before with the old pulsar based astra and it was such a flop because it was such a weak effort. No improvement in performance, only a body kit really. Will be nice to see them break the V8 only mold as at the end of the day, V8's aren't everyones cup of tea.

Yeah, normally I wouldnt believe it either. But GoAuto is normally a pretty reliable source. Not to mention with all the management changes apparently happening around HSV (Anyone remember the article about John Crennan stepping aside for someone else to take the reins?) I wouldnt be suprised if their earlier comments about sticking to FR/V8 may become irrelevant.
