Personally i like the shape of the astra over the SSS.
Well i can say that the SSS beats the sri barina not too sure bout the astra though, i have beaten a few astras including the 2.2 astras unsure if they were the sri or not, as for the turbo i dont think that a stande non turbo SSS would win, as the fastest non turbo SSS/pulsar is just hitting the 14.7 mark now and that is what the astra turbs do stock dont they, i do know this though, my SSS feels faster inside the car then the astra turbs do and my pulsar seems to take off qwiker aswell, but its just a illusion as my car has a heap stiffer suspension and solid engine mounts you just feel it more is all.
and the sr20de came out in the Ti, some Q.s and all the SSS models of the pulsars upto the N15, then they are all the 1.8 engine now and no more SSS. the sr20det came out in, the GtiR, 200sx some Nx coupes and even some of the 180sx also. the sr20ve however i think would come very close to beating a astra turbs.

yeah there is so many shops and ppl that have a heap of knowledge on the SR20DE engine range as most work for the rwd cars can go to fwd cars too.
the shape well i would have to disagree with you on that note, i like the shape of the Jap Spec SSS the N14 over the astra but the N15 well the astra beats them hands down for sure, the astra is a very very sweet looking car especially in the blue i have gotta say.
i would like to turbo my car if i did i would be doing a de+t conversion mmm can someone say mid 13's here i come

i wouldn't call it local knowledge....knowledege 'gained' from experience....cause everyone does up the nissans, toyota's etc....the ecu is one of the main problems with opel's
