    gday from sunshine coast

Hello everyone, I'm Andrew, we have three TS astra's in the family, two manuals circa 2002, and a 2005 auto. We have had a pretty good run out of all of them, but one of the manuals has now started playing up, intermittent missing on #2 cylinder and throwing up a 0302 fault code. When that happens it runs on 3 cylinders for a while then eventually corrects itself. It's had new plugs, coil pack and ECU and it's still the same. Anyway, I've posted up in a thread that seems to deal with this issue, so I'm hoping I can get some tech tips here as the mechanics just seem to want to replace parts and hope that fixes it. I'm not even sure I needed a new ECU now!!

    cheers
    Andrew
