Hello all,

I am posting this on behalf of an friend (older fellow) who is struggling with an issue.

Car apparently drives ok but has become in recent weeks under-powered/struggles when accellerating up a steep inclined road near his residence.

This is his message to me.

Hey aaron , here are the car details.
Holden astra 2007 AH 2.2 litre SRI 4 EFI
The first trip to autoleaders southport for service and check for running slugish under load, they wanted further diognosis . (Note report),

Had this done at Robina auto leaders, they suggested to try the o2 sensors first ,$450. if that didnt work then they would try the cat.$2600 plus fitting . I said no. (Note report)

I then took it to Brians auto centre, they couldn't find a solution so suggested I take it to the holden dealership .(Note reort)

Apparently Brian's auto centre checked the cat and 02 centre and found no fault. They suggested it could potentially be ecu related?

Any ideas??
