    How about the Lotus Carlton/Omega. As close as you get to a big Aussie car in Europe.
    My brother had a ride in a Lotus Omega, 600hp with a top speed 300kmh in Germany. very impressive. the tightly set up suspension started to work after 150kmh.

    as a kid many, many, many years ago - 35 years to be exact...I had these curtains in my room with car badges printed on them. One of them was Opel, which stood out from BMW, Chev, Audi, VW etc etc, and thats how I began my love of the brand.
    I also had a Corsa (SB Barina) and a TS Astra - both rebadged to Opel

    Well, it was built on the same platform that underpinned the VN-VS Commodore, so much so the diff they used in the Lotus turbocharged version actually came from a V8 Commodore.

    I worked as a mechanic in the UK in 2004, one of the office girls had a Carlton, bonnet always up with the engine electrics playing up
