Compared to the Volvo's 10.4L/100km average consumption on 91/95/98 and the fact that it's quicker than the Volvo as well - I'm happy.

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

mondo, does your trip meter remember back to the beginning? Mine resets every 2000km, and who uses a trip that small, except for a single tank of petrol?

there's 3 memory settings. one is life of the car, and two are re settable. i set one on delivery so it is 28km different to the life of the car. the other i reset when i go on a journey somewhere and want to know what it has been doing. not sure if it will keep doing that or reset at 10k or something? the mondeo used to reset at 2000km. oh and there is a single line trip meter on the dashboard too in the Corsa. it probably resets at 2000km
