Quick run down, I only owned Saabs since 2000, they included a 2000 9-5, another 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero, then a 2006 9-3 Aero.
Anyway, Saab hit the skids and I needed a new car so I was looking at another brand. I owned a Vauxhall Nova back in the late 90's, and put over 130,000 Km's on it with no problems. So thought as Opel had come over I would have a look at the Insignia 2.0.
Long story short, went back home to the UK for 6 weeks at the end of July this year, returned on early Sept and found a brand new OPC Insignia was being advertised on the web for a cut down price of $46K. Test drove it and brought it on the same day.
And now I am here talking to you!

Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
