    Vectra 1997

    Hi all,
Just purchased a 1997vectra for my daughter it has been garaged and unused since 2002 and has 90k on the clock.
Have some concern re timing belt as it has never been changed and the book states every 8years, should I be concerned.
    Cheers,
    David

Yes you should, if it states 8years and its been 16 years already its quite obvious really. All plastic things etc become very brittle over time and if they go it can only mean a way bigger expense than if you just get it changed.

I'd highly recommend doing full timing kit, water pump, seals. Full set of filters and all fluids.
