    June 2013 Opel Sales Figures

159 Opels were sold in June 2013 throughout Australia.

Last sales Stat I could find was 151 sold in April 2013.

Now that the Corsa OPC has arrived in most dealer showrooms, will it have an impact on sales?

Cannot see it having a big impact.
Once the intial OPC Corsa die-hards have taken up their quota I would think they will trickle out the door.
All reviews have been positive and maybe with VW`s DSG issues it may sway some to pass on the Polo Gti ( VW Sales have dropped 20% since the recall )

I reckon give Opel a few years to settle in, pretty crowded marketplace !

July sales were 111 cars across Australia.

I think what it all comes down to is GM Opel Europe not willing to support a fledgling car market that didn't offer instant success, all because they're making huge losses in Europe. I'd be surprised if Opel as a brand lasts the next couple of years.

    Yep, now they're gone
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
