i'm looking at getting a full system done for my car..although I'm having a few problems with exhaust shops not knowing anything about astras :roll:

Is the TR astra 1.8 the same engine as the TS 1.8? Mine's the Z18XE, so the TR would be the X18XE or something wouldn't it? They said they have extractors made for the TR 1.8 which can be modified to fit my engine, so thought I'd find out first.

TR astra 1.8 and TS 1.8 are very different

I dont know if its wise 2 do it

thanks yusuf thats what I was thinking...I didn't think they were the same engine but I thought I'd check before I completely discounted the idea.

@ astra_city, check out liverpool exhaust (AKA hurricane headers) these guys built 4-2-1's for my Barina SRi which has Z18XE. they could prolly fudge it it suit the astra Click here to enlarge
