    Pukekohe v Hampton Downs

    The V 8 Supercars coming to Auckland soon & my question is this;
    Why spend truckloads of dollars on a brand new track & then go back to the old track?

    Couple of things I can think of:

    * New track owners want a lot more money for the event versus owners of old track
    * Old track makes for better racing than new track

    The racing at Pukekohe was intense. Really is one of the best tracks they go to.
    I would like to see them at Hampton but after last weekends races I doubt they'll get there.

    If you watched the weekends racing your question has been answered.

    Some of the best racing for a long time.

    And great to see Brighty do it for JR
