    My new canon 1100D

I have that cameras pre model and have had it for 3-4 years and haven't ever needed to get anything.
Only downside it's old school memory cards that are harder to find now...
Grab a 50mm lens for it for the bad ass close ups and you will be sweet!

    Nice one
Before you go out buy all these extras, learn to use all the camera features first. You'll be surprised at how much it can do without buying stuff.
If you got any questions, feel free to ask.

If you're new to the DSLR I'd recommend the following
    a) Don't get sucked in by more expensive camera gear - mastering your camera and developing skills will take you further!
    b) Get your hands on some Kelby guides if you're starting out - I learnt heaps from them.
    c) Learn about lighting!
