congrats on the purchase! - they are a great looking car.

As for mods and warranty - well its VW, so if you look at the car wrong or breathe on it wrong, VW will void your warranty - so I'd be careful doing anything on it during warranty period.

I heard they have tried to void the warranty even without mods! lol

I had a few issues with my GTI out of warranty, but VW paid for the labour and gave me a discount on the parts so worked out ok.

No issues with the DSG so far, touch wood.

On a side not Formula Tech are Viezu tuners now and also try Mark`s Workshop in York for GIAC,he also supplies Milltek.
