    Jack 2 just doesn't seem to work.

    I've swapped Cat5 between 1&2 and also swapped the adaptor between the hub and PC.

    Yes I have hooked up the Cat5 cable to the hub/switch

    Yes using the same port (3) on the PC side as the Switch side.

    I would say it's a limitation of the router.

    Are you using static IP's for all of the machines?

    retard, nevermind me. looked at the pics again.

    so are the other machines all dynamic? or static?

    have you tried giving the two machines on the splitter static ips?
